Create and Collaborate with Canva

Some stuff you might want to know about Canva... .

In this day and age, you probably have heard about Canva a zillion times already. Am I right? Yes, I think Canva is getting more and more popular. Not only social media influencers but also those who are in the education field are using it. In just a minute, you can already have your finished product. From posters, and Instagram/Facebook templates to presentations, it's just so good to be true and effortless!! But wait, many people use Canva but don't know exactly how it works and its superb tips and tricks. So, if you want to learn more about them ahhhhhh....this post is for you :D

How does it work??

1. Canva is so simple to sign up for, requiring only an email address, a Google account, or a Facebook account. Once you've created a free account, you can choose whether you want to use it as a teacher, student, or anything else. This will personalize the experience for you, making it easier to search. (If you haven't created an account, it's a good time for you to start now ;)

2. Teaching students how to use Canva can be the focus of a lesson at broadening their digital skills. However, because this is very simple to use, it will most likely take very little time. Allowing students to experiment with different options enables more in-depth learning and creativity to flourish.

3. Canva offers a wide variety of virtual templates for students to work with and customize. This allows them to concentrate on the topic at hand rather than wasting time or energy learning how to use the tool.

4. You can upload your own images and videos, which is useful when using the app version on a smartphone. Once completed, you can download the file, share it via various social media platforms, or send it to a professional print service to have it printed. Awesome, right?

Now, let's gooo to....

Canva's best tips and tricks!

Plan lessons

Canva can be used to visually lay out the lesson for yourself as a teacher, but it can also be shared with students so they know what to anticipate and can plan accordingly.

Build student profiles

Make learning portfolios for students so they can see how they're progressing throughout the year; this can also be a useful revision and review tool.

Collaborate

Allow groups of up to ten students to collaborate in class and digitally from home to create a finished body of work.

Chart graphics

Canva, which is ideal for math and science, can be used to display data in rich charts and graphs to make presenting experiments and other information visually engaging.

That's all for now! I have said it to you just now but I will say it again. Canva is so uncomplicated to handle and it really, really helps to simplify the digital design process.  Its simple drag-and-drop interface makes image editing and project-based learning possible. So, all the best to your new design activities!

  1. Canva, a really good website indeed, but your way of writing really keep me entertaining even though I have known some of the content already. You make no mistake in your writing again this time, you keep giving us a clear explanation and the extra picture to help us, reader, easier to understand. I love your theme too, it's soft but beautiful also. Keep going, I love your writing. -anggun
