www= wonderful word wall

Hello! Welcome to my second blog! I wonder how you are doing while reading this blog. I hope all is well with you :)

This time I want to share with you another wonderful app that I've just known from our lecturer. After using it once for our micro-teaching, I really found it interesting and fun. I'm not a pro though as I'm still navigating through the app but little by little, I'm getting a hang of it. As you know, I've been (I think not only myself have thought about this, I bet you too) using and playing Kahoot and Quizziz for these past two years and sometimes I feel like I want something new and upgraded. Well, well, well. If Kahoot amazes you, this one is on another level, guys! Hope you give it a try!

                                                         But what exactly is Word Wall?

Word wall is a free online tool that allows you to create learning activities based on various aspects of language learning. To get started, just create an account here: https://wordwall.net/

There are numerous activity types available, such as word order, quizzes, true or false, grouping activities, and so on. What's particularly appealing about it is how simple it is to create activities. Easy peasy!

Another notable feature of the word wall is that it tracks all student activities and provides detailed results and complete information. So, you can see which students correctly answered which questions, how quickly they completed the activities, and where you should focus your own teaching and learning. What I also find interesting is that it can be used in both online teaching contexts and with students in a face-to-face class using printed texts.

For beginners, here's a two-minute "introduction to word wall" video. Hope this is useful as you try to be familiarized with the app and its features. Go, take a gander :)

Until here, for now. I can't explain all the related stuff about the app but I guess I have piqued your interest to at least try it for your next activity. So, if you're looking for a quick fun activity that allows students to check their understanding and see if they've followed what you've been teaching them, a word wall is an excellent and wonderful tool.  This technology is highly recommended for language teachers because it is suitable for teaching any language!!!
